New coil tilting equipment
The client – Acerinox (Spain), wanted to substitute an obsolete tilter in the annealing area.
Design, manufacturing, erection and commissioning of new 30 Tn coil tilting equipment. This tilting equipment has installed 4 hydraulic cylinders working 2 and supporting the weight the other 2 each time it works, depending the sense of tilt.
Solution
The new equipment allows to tilt the coils from vertical axis to horizontal axis for its transport in factory.
