Uncoiler. First pass rolling mill

Design, supply and adaptation of existing uncoiler in ARCELORMITTAL Sagunto, for a new location in ARCELORMITTAL France.

For this, we supplied a new uncoiler frame as well as mandrel nose and mandrel support, new traction machine, turn opener table, side guides and step table, as well as modification of loading trolley and new loading saddles for coils.

The Solution

The client can have a coil ready to be threaded in the rolling mill just when the processing of the previous coil has been finished, with the resulting increase in production of the rolling mill.
